Associate Marketing Manager 

Reports to: VP of Marketing & Client Strategy

Position Description
The Associate Marketing Manager comes to work each day thinking, “what can we say about Next Level today?” This dual role combines NXLP corporate marketing and client program marketing responsibilities. Builds community, sharing resonant content in owned and earned media. Promotes brand, thought leadership and visibility through content development and curation. Grows reach and impressions. Is an excellent writer. Builds conversation with relevance, relatability, and trust. A positive voice. Helps develop NXLP corporate and client communications that drive consideration.  Markets our client’s programs to participants through compelling creativity and editorial competency. 

Content Generation and Management

  • Editorial support for corporate and client communications campaigns
  • Communications planning for corporate marketing; blog posts, guest blogging, social media, collateral and website
  • Communications planning for client programs; Travel, recognition and incentive campaigns

Demand Management and Generation

  • Manage all aspects of Hubspot and related landing pages, emails and sequences (Cleanup, maintenance, SAL vs MA, etc.)
  • Lead SEO and LinkedIn Ads responsibilities
  • Manage the collateral library and all content within HubSpot
  • Continuous improvement of emails, using analytics to form hypotheses and run A/B Tests to optimize
  • Setup, segment and schedule Outreach Emails to potential prospects and promotional partners
  • Design and develop appropriate, conversion-optimal Landing Pages and Thank You Pages with Analytics

Social Media Management 

  • Social Networks Profile optimization to achieve consistent branding, themes and seasonal refreshing
  • Monitor all channels to maintain presence. Reply & Respond appropriately with intent and accuracy
  • Polish Brand Reputation by demonstrating flawless tact, persistent positivity, critical circumspection
  • Cultivate strategic amplification partners for greater reach to target audiences
  • Become a micro-influencer of note to attract and activate audiences e.g. Travel Category
  • Create and Schedule Posts (video, image, links, text). Prep media content and message
  • Use Marketing Automation Media Library and other means to create and use trackable URLs for links to content and resources (UTM codes or pre-shortened URLs) 
  • Content Curation monitor, comment, share trends by media, publishers, analysts, avoiding competitors
  • Content Creation, including ‘rest’ content, quotations, images, statistics and factoids
  • Content Promotion cycles to schedule messages and images effectively; repurpose; recycle
  • Craft messages appropriately for each network with knowledge of platform demographic and insights
  • Perform hashtag, Group and List research and implement per product and service silos
  • Tirelessly coaches, teaches and trains internal staff to peak power of advocacy and attraction

Major Public Relations Assist Responsibilities 

  • Outreach Emails to list of sympathetic editors to pitch publicity ideas, followup PRweb releases 
  • Create HARO Profiles for internal Subject Matter Experts (SMXs)

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Intangible 

  • Experience working in leading marketing automation tools; preferably HubSpot
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related degree
  • Short-form writing under direction with perfect spelling and grammar
  • Fluent in major social media networks and attainment of achievable goals
  • Comprehends community growth and service
  • Tireless project manager able to juggle multiple concurrent tasks
  • Warm communicator ready with status updates, reporting on results and sharing news
  • Genuine, honest, caring and compassionate – everyone’s teammate
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Detail oriented, analytical thinking, problem solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Performance Measurements 

  • Achieves and maintains networks’ growth comprised of genuine followers and brand fans 
  • Measurably stimulates Engagement (Likes, Comments, Shares) 
  • Significantly increases social contribution to web referral traffic, building audiences 
  • Cultivates growing list of Influencers, Authors, Thought Leaders with larger target audiences and trust 
  • Responsibly replies and responds within rapid timeframes for liveliest interaction 
  • Bridges departments for proper routing and disposition of questions, leads, topics and trends 
  • Uses analytical insights to gauge progress to goals and help inform Customer Personas  
  • Adhere to the Next Level Performance CARES philosophy
