In Our Community

We care about our Community and our Teammates

Employee engagement is the foundation for our products and services, and a guiding principle for our company. With frequent office celebrations, an active peer-to-peer recognition program, and annual initiatives for our teammates to help the local community, we are proud to have been recognized as a “Best Place to Work in NJ” and a “Company That Cares.” Here you will find a sampling of our activities. Enjoy

[And the fake mustaches? They’re to celebrate the retirement of our long-time colleague Jim Rash!]

Teammates of the Year

The Teammate of the Year Award is chosen from nominations for Teammate of the Quarter given by colleagues in recognition of the winner’s hard work throughout the entire year. The 2017 recognition was awarded to Casey Cuono, Senior Software Developer. The Next Level Performance CARES Award recognizes the person whose actions, words, commitment to excellence, and achievements best exemplify the values of the organization: Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, Ethical Behavior, and Service. The 2017 winner, Stacey Serrano, Project Manager Manager, was selected from nominations by her colleagues.

HOPE Week

HOPE stands for Helping Others Persevere and Excel, and Next Level Performance’s HOPE Week has been adapted from the New York Yankees’ initiative by the same name.  Each year, we dedicate time and resources to helping our neighbors and improving our community. HOPE Week provides a meaningful opportunity for every member of our team to get involved and make a difference, and reflects our Next Level Performance mission: To help people and organizations dig deeper, reach higher, and attain the next level.

In 2018, we focused on alleviating hunger in New Jersey and supporting families on the road back from homelessness. To fight hunger, we partnered with the Community Food Bank of New Jersey.  Teams of Next Level employees spent time at their warehouse, sorting food and packaging it for distribution.  Additionally, we ran a coin drive to benefit the food bank, with funds matched by the company. We also managed a building-wide food drive for our neighbors at Elijah’s Promise, a New Brunswick-based charity with a mission, “Food Changes Lives.”  Other Next Level teams worked on helping families in our area. We worked with HomeFront NJ to provide Back-to-School clothing and school supplies for homeless kids, as well as Welcome Home Kits filled with household basics from kitchen supplies to towels, to help homeless families transition into permanent housing. Best of all our own Next Level kids decorated the kits and added welcome home messages to every box.

HOPE Week allows our entire team to get involved and to share our good fortune with our neighbors in need. We are grateful for the opportunity to give back to our community.

Fun at the Office!

From Cinco de Mayo to our end of year party, we take time out from a busy schedule to have some fun with our colleagues! These events are important to our company culture because we know that social relationships and community go a long way to building the kind of community where people thrive. The connections we make over a company lunch help us to be collaborative when we’re working together on projects.

Organizations We Support

Through employee donations, company match, and various activities throughout the year, we are proud to support many of our local non-profit organizations.
