Dittman Incentive Marketing was named a “Champion of Good Works” by the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ) at its recent Chairman’s Reception saluting the generosity of the business community.
Martin Kafafian, chairman of the CIANJ board of directors, presented the awards at a gathering of 250 business executives.. “For most of these companies their donations, kindness and community outreach are part of their corporate culture — their mission,” said Kafafian. “The public at large is often unaware of the magnitude and scope of the good works. This reception is our way of shining a spotlight on “Companies that Care.”
Dittman Incentive Marketing’s mission is focused on helping people and organizations exceed their own expectations. The company’s core set of values, “Dittman CARES” (Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, Ethical Behavior, Service), support a belief that successful organizations bear a responsibility to do what they can to provide opportunities and improve circumstances for others through corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects.
This year, Dittman is recognized as a “Company that Cares” for its HOPE Week initiative. Taking inspiration from NY Yankees HOPE (Help Others to Persevere and Excel) Week, the company committed time and resources to make a positive impact on the community. Vivian Cooney, Board member at Dittman, said, “It was a great honor to be recognized among our business community peers as a ‘Company that Cares.’ Every one of our team members contributes to the company culture, and this was most evident during HOPE Week. It’s a privilege to serve our community and to help those in need in New Jersey.”
The CIANJ is a statewide business advocacy organization based in Paramus. It represents more than 900 member companies from every business sector. The association asked businesses to submit stories of their good works and more than 90 responses were received this year. These accounts and pictures are featured in a special “Companies that Care ” section in the March issue of COMMERCE Magazine, the media arm of the association.
