This quarter, we recognize Jennifer Elliott, Merchandise/Customer Service Representative for her contributions during the busy Travel season. Here’s what Jennifer had to say about her work.
How has your role changed throughout your two years at Next Level Performance?
My role has changed quite a bit! I was hired for customer service, merchandise sourcing and shipping, and have delved so deep into each of those areas. I have learned how to help our participants with their particular needs, source multiple pieces of merchandise from different vendors, and learned the ins and outs of shipping overseas with the help of our customs broker. I have also had a bit of interaction with our clients, have attended a trade show, and have started to take a closer look at operations and the various reporting functions. I have recently become a member of our recognition and engagement committee, which is both fun and rewarding as I assist in the planning and implementation of awesome teammate events.
What are some of your biggest accomplishments from the last quarter?
One of my biggest accomplishments was getting more comfortable and confident with shipping and customs procedures. Becoming more familiar has allowed me to organize and plan better, ultimately resulting in time and money savings for the company.
Another accomplishment is my ever-evolving copy writing style. By studying current trends and researching different techniques to grab our reader’s attention, I have helped to increase interest in our monthly promotions.
What about your job are you most passionate about?
I would have to say I am most passionate about making sure the participants are happy. That’s what we do, so it needs to be done well. Anyone who I speak to gets my full, undivided attention until their problem is resolved. Whether is simply helping them log into their platform or helping them book a flight, I want them to know we are here to serve with a smile.
Congratulations, Jennifer!
