With Thanksgiving this week, there’s a lot to look forward to: all the delicious food, the start of the Holiday Season, and most importantly, time spent with loved ones. This holiday also presents a unique opportunity in the workplace to strengthen your organization’s culture.

Thanksgiving offers the chance to celebrate each other and reflect on the successes of the past year. It gives employees to express their gratitude for each other and to the company wthat supported them throughout the year. Making time out of the workday for employees to relax and enjoy a meal with coworkers strengthens relationships and creates a “family bond”.

Here at Next Level Performance, we share a company-wide Thanksgiving lunch every year. Everyone gathers to break bread, watch a holiday movie, and converse and connect with teammates outside of our everyday duties. The time to share these moments with one another is valuable to a meaningful work environment and helps build morale.
