Next Level Again Among New Jersey’s Best Places to Work 2020

March 13, 2020

For the fifth time, NJBIZ and Best Companies Group have named Next Level Performance one of the Best Places to Work in New Jersey!

Next Level’s theme is Achieve More™. And the team has! All teammates are delighted that their dedication to the Core Values has proven so valuable in creating a cohesive and caring workplace.

Next Level teammates

As a point of pride, the Social Media, Marketing and Marketing Communications staff teamed up to create a video to express how unity and solidarity forge friendships among teammates. Watch below!

Expressing Shared Values in All That We Do

“At Next Level Performance, our mission is to help people and organizations dig deeper, reach higher, and attain the next level. The experience teaches us that Core Values help set the company culture, and that inspires great results.” said Next Level Performance President, Dave Dittman.

C.A.R.E.S. is the acronym for Next Level shared values. Customers are the primary beneficiaries, but these traits also make employees feel safe, productive, free to innovate, rewarded and recognized. These values are Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, Ethics, and Service (CARES).

Recognition and Rewards

Some examples of CARES at work include the culture of appreciation that Next Level has cultivated. As the makers of Applaudit® cloud software, that social recognition software gets used. A lot. But, it takes a lot more than social recognition software to inspire peer-to-peer appreciation and Best Places to Work performance.

It was innovation from within that led to Applaudit’s latest feature. When an employee is recognized, Applaud It enables any of their teammates to share some of their own Points. This sharing multiplies the appreciation for the above-and-beyond efforts.

Next Level Trust

New policies have proven popular, including discretionary Work From Home days, which simplifies day-to-day living and enables better work/life balance.

Next Level Giving

The charitable actions, events, and opportunities that led to 2019 donations met the embrace of enthusiastic leaders and staff.

Next Level’s traditions include the Teammate of the Quarter, who is given the ability to direct company donations to their charity of choice. That brings extra impact to one’s own heartfelt giving, and boosts spirits, big time.

And, to be a Best Places to Work in NJ requires a company to constantly try new, innovative ways to engage staff. For example, a new policy enables employees to make a gift of their unused Paid Time Off (PTO) days, donating them to teammates who need them.

2019 Chili Cookoff Chefs and Winner

Next Level has its own Recognition and Engagement Committee, staging internal events… Coordinating community engagement… Chili Cookoffs… Super Bowl Lunch… Endless supplies of snacks and treats. (It’s a good thing the benefits include wellness and fitness options!)

The rankings of the 100 Best Places to Work in New Jersey will be unveiled at an awards ceremony on April 21st at iPlay America’s Event Center in Freehold, NJ.
